Waitaki Multicultural Day 2022

On Friday 26th August 2022, people all over New Zealand will be bringing their cultural heritage into their work and family life. This includes wearing traditional attire, sharing traditional food and music, speaking in their native language, sharing stories from their home or kāinga tipu (ancestral homeland).

Waitaki Multicultural will mark the occasion with an event at the Forrester Gallery. Please come dressed in your traditional clothes. Thanks to the Friends of the Forrester Gallery for catering for us.

You can also view the WAITĀHA: THE ART OF PEACE exhibition. At 5.30pm an official photograph will be taken of everyone .
