Celebrating Welcoming Week

It was an awesome day as Waitaki Multicultural and Welcoming Communities held a stall at the Oamaru Farmer’s Market to celebrate Welcoming Week.

Thank you to all our friends – old and new – who joined us for a chat, had a selfie photo taken and declared “Nau Mai ra- Glad you are here!”

Ana brought a world map for everyone to mark on their country of origin, it was amazing to see about 25 nations represented!

Happy 12th Birthday and thank you to the Oamaru Farmer’s Market. Thanks to Stronger Waitaki and Waitaki Multicultural Committee members for lending a hand on the day. Thanks to Sport Waitaki for the loan of their gazebo.
